My 60A3000 with about 5,000 hours on the original lamp recently started doing the same thing. I replaced the lamp with a spare I had, and the problem was solved. I was fooled at first, because I first tried pulling the original lamp out and then reseating it, thinking the problem might be bad connections. That cured the problem for a couple days, but the problem came back. This happened a few weeks ago, and the spare lamp is still working fine.
