Which mode did you cal? I did thx with reasonably good results. Gamut under 1.5dE. Wb 2pt worked ok but the 2 points did not reign in the other points as well as some other tv's. I found that the 10pt controls were not helpful. Gamma...

Calibration is not about whether or not you "like" it. It is all about if the display produces a picture that meets the standards or in other words is accurate. If you like vivid mode, that is ok, enjoy it. If want an accurate picture...
If you have more time than money, just go with the Eye One Pro. Really, if you are only calibrating a few displays a year, you do not need a colorimeter.
