+1, my two year old $50 Black Friday Magnavox and LG BD players have been 'bulletproof', playing anything loaded in them just fine, which is more than I can say about my relatively high end Elite 23FD.

Agreed, the Maggie BD I got a couple of seasons ago for $50 at Wal-Mart the week before Black Friday has now done around 650 mostly DVD movies without a hiccup while I've had several BDs, DVDs out of maybe 25 that the Pioneer Elite 23FD...
Hmm, I've measured Vas with the driver face down on a bench and maintaining a good seal can be very hard at woofer frequencies, so seems like a sealed back mid would be really hard to do.
