There are two many threads for the 2014 Samsung UHD sets. At this point only two are needed, one for the 8500 and another for the 9000. I'm trying to find out from Samsung if the 2013 3D glasses are compatible with the 2014 TVs but I didn't have any success finding someone at Samsung who knows. Anybody run across an info on this?
The HU9000 should have it's own thread if it hasn't been done already.
I have a small area in my basement that I turned into a little HT. What do you think of it? https://www.flickr.com/photos/122923883@N05/

Cinema black has only on and off. I saw in a review of the U.K 8500 that they recommended setting it at medium. It must be unique to their model.
Anyone who has this set see documentation concerning the movie pak Samsung will have for 299.00? I didn't go through everything yet but there was not a lot to go through. I thought it would be included in the box.
What is Sharp doing about upgrading this set to UHD spec (HDMI 2.0, etc.)? Since the 2014 sets will be built in compliant are you not considering one of them?
