The TiVo Premiere protects all new recordings from deletion for 72 hours, but does a much better job of reporting when the DVR will delete older recordings. It no longer labels every recording as “may be deleted” simply because it is 48...

I understand that you can record from the client boxes. Could you just press record, then access the recording and pause from there?
