What features would you recommend he drop (the needless ones) and then, what would you recommend he buy? I am looking for essentially the same thing; A simply 5.1 surround sound receiver to watch my blue rays through...
Are there any 'sleeper' receiver units out there to seriously consider; something that if I only want to spend 300 bucks, its an easy choice? I have 4 Polk Audio RTi10's, a Polk center channel and a self-powerd SVS sub. I'm looking for a really good surround sound receiver to pump the audio through. Video also if it helps but not absolutely necessary. I could spend a little more if its truly worth it... Any input is appreciated
Hi all I'm trying to upgrade the firmware but the set isnt recognizing the USB drive. I downloaded the file to the drive and there is a folder (T-AMBAUSC) showing up but nothing that seems executable. Will the TV know enough to open the folder and seek the necessary files and install them?
The 120 refresh rate versus the 30,000:1 contrast ratio...I havent seen both but is there a general consensus on which is better? (or is it a split decision - the 71F for action viewing and the other for everything else...??) Which would you pick and why?
"Samsung Sued Over Blu-ray Player
Samsung was hit by a class action lawsuit last week, facing allegations of selling its first generation Blu-ray player incapable of playing certain Blu-ray movies.
Robert T. McGovern filled the lawsuit dated Feb 5 in the U.S. District Court claiming its Samsung BD-01200 Blu-ray disc player could not play a number of Blu-ray disc titles that he purchased for viewing using his Samsung player.
Attorneys in the case...
I'm thinking of picking up a new Samsung wireless 50" inch set for work (signaled from my laptop - flash and PowerPoints) but am concerned about any potential loss of signal or interference. Can anyone shed any light on this? (Wireless is a great feature but picture quality is THE priority)
