Are you thinking of using this projector as a TV as well? It's usually a better idea to hang a large LED TV behind the screen for normal TV watching. Projectors demand too dark a room that isn't really suitable for TVs.

For a 32" screen, if you sit 10 feet from it, you can't tell the difference between 480p or 1080p. To benefit from 1080p you would have to sit less than 5 feet away; which is pretty close.
