I've just got the Samsung UN40ES6500 and try to find any information on connecting a PC to it but the only thing I found so far is either HDMI or dvi (conversion to HDMI). Is this correct? The TV does not support VGA? TIA.
Any one knows the code for Directv Remote to be able to turn on/off and volume for the LG 47LM7600 model? I've asked the question in the LG thread but no one seems to know what the code is. Some one claimed it to be 10442 but it does not work for me. TIA.
Does this tv have IR capability? I have an HD Directv receiver and would like to use the DTV remote to turn on/off the TV. I cannot seem to program the remote. I've tried using code 10442 posted by someone claims to be working but I have no luck so far. All I need is my DTV remote to turn on/off and volume. All others I can manage. Any one got any idea? Thanks.
I need some expert advice, I follow the instructions for setting up windows 7 (64 bits) and my sound is fine when playing movies using media center but if I use MPC, the sound become echo like as I am in a box. This also happens when I play my mp3. How can I fix this issue I am having? Any advice? TIA.
I need some expert advice, I've just got a PS3 hooking up (HDMI) to my Onkyo Receiver which output to my DLP 120Mhz 1080p. When I play GT5 which is 1080p, the games look fantastic but since most of the games are 720p, all I get a a rectangle on my DLP, can I make all 720P games to stretch like 1080p game? It is irritating to play games having blackbars all around the TV. If it was 1", I can accept that but we are talking about 6-7" on each sides (top, bottom, left,...
I have a mitsubishi WS-65712 that I'd purchased about 7 yrs ago for around 4K. anyway, I need to adjust the horizontal and vertical because my picture is currently not center correctly. I've a service manual but not sure where to adjust it because there are so many information on convergence settings but nothing on picture position. Anyone has any idea how can this be adjusted? I was hoping it can be done as easily as the PC monitor.
I don't think the Hybrid has a slot for adding a video card, I could be wrong. I am looking for the same thing you are doing but so far I haven't found a good and reasonable solution. The only thing that I can thing of is getting a receiver that takes hdmi input and have component output or just built a HTPC with the video card suggested by servicetech.
