Speaking as a fellow Canadian, i see no reason to pay the bloated Panasonic prices when you have LGs and Samsungs priced at least (relatively)close to what they are in the states. For the price of the 50" G20, you can get an LG 60PK550...

And note that the one that is 55" is physically LARGER (i think) than the 60" because of how ridiculously big and ugly the bezel is.

Can you see the stuck pixels from where you're sitting?
