Cool. Thanks again for your help and patience. Now that the shares are taken care of the rest is just learning the basics of XBMC. Really like this unit. Menus seem snappy and it boots in about 20-25 seconds via USB.
Well, I guess SMB was the way to go. smb:\\192.168.1.126\media\MOVIES and \TV and \Music all worked like a charm. I haven't done any extensive testing but multiple .mkv lossless rips played video without issue, currently not connected...
