Yeah, it's not a sim so I figure that old-school technique will work well unless there are other play mechanic penalties (like loss of XP or earned $$$ for bumps, scrapes and crashes).

Hmmm, with Drive Club set to be a PS4 launch title, I don't see Sony clogging up the channels with two first-party racers in 2013. Maybe GT6 will hit the PS3 this fall, followed by an updated PS4 version in Spring 2014.
