My old LX608 had a "smooth" option available which was indeed frame interpolation. I knew it was because it introduced a slight SOE effect with the usual "clear halo" around fast moving objects. Not sure if they dropped it in the LX609...

My 75" ES9000 doesn't have any vertical banding at all. My old 65" ES8000 had terrible vertical banding so I know what to look for. The ES9000 doesn't have even a hint of it, so it IS possible. 1000
