So your source knob has no issues? When I turn my dial quickly or slowly it inevitably will not function 1 out of 4 clicks. For example, if I switch back and forth between two sources (CD/Video) for example, it will sometims hang on...
Hello everyone, I am wondering if there are any fixes for the source knob. The problem I am having is that it works intermittently. Sometimes when I turn the dial, it will not change selected sources. No matter how slowly I go,...
OKAY, so I have my choices narrowed down to these two setups for my Magnepans MMGs: 2 Bridged Behringer EP4000 (1 for each Maggie) (claimed 4000wpc) ($350 each) or 2 Pivetta Opera One (claimed 20,000wpc) ($490,000...
Well, I have the XPA-3 coming and I can A/B the Maggies with the Behringer/Emotiva. If I hear any difference quality wise, I will have a really hard time choosing the one that placed second.
Diamond, from my POV you are absolutely right. Similarly, would anyone drive a Bentley if there was no one around to see you drive it? No, people drive them to be seen and make a statement. If I went with the Emotiva it wouldn't be to...

I'm currently breaking in my Magnepan MMGs with pink noise with the Behringer EP4000. Stunning clarity. I may switch out for the Emotiva XPA-3 though. I would only be running 2 channel on the XPA-3 which is currently going for $529...
goonstopher, NIN is exactly what I was looking for. BTW, I asked about rock speakers not because that is all I listen to but because I do like rock and I have the budget for more than 1 pair of speakers! I don't need 1 set that is so...
Eternal Velocity, I understand what you are saying. Even in the world of neutral, flat response speakers which present the music as the artist had intended for it to be heard there are differences in character. I guess this is due to...
Suggest the speakers you think sound best for rock. I have been digging through speakers and can't seem to find a pair that makes rock/hard rock sound really good. I've listened to Paradigm, Klipsch, B&W, Magnepan, Revel. They all...
