Wait a minute - are you trying to say that every disc has to have a PCM, DD, and DTS track on it?

???So you're unwilling or unable to explain to me how your point related to the out-of-context sentence you quoted from my post? And how, exactly, am I "kind of going around in circles?"As I posted before, this isn't that complicated. The BD release of the EEs is the first time the new color timing was released on home video, despite the new DI/color timing being completed years ago, during the production/post-production of the last two films of the trilogy.

Yeah, I've spoken with them a few times today already. The current line is that it will show up sometime today in "the evening or late afternoon." I've been checking on it every couple of hours or so and nothing so far...So, yeah. They lied to me. Looks like access won't be available until the actual release date. In the process of attempting to get a refund from these scumbags. This will be my last Walmart preorder - that's for damn sure.

Because the only possible explanation for the change is either an error or Jackson was drunk, right? You guys need to remember that these changes didn't happen recently or "long after its wide public release/distribution," they happened during the production/post-production of the last two films of the original trilogy (I can't remember exactly when.) The changes are new to us because this release was the first time the completed version was ever released. This isn't about...

Which makes sense, given what we know. Did you really expect it to look the same, despite this being a full-DI/fully-color timed version we've never seen before? The evidence at hand, including the statement provided by Digital Bits, suggests this is how it's supposed to look. You, and a handful of others, not liking the color scheme is not evidence of an error. Saying it looks different from past versions is simply stating the obvious. No, it "looks bad" to a tiny number of...

This has been said over and over, but it apparently has to be said again. Rather than type out an identical response, I'll simply copy and paste a post of mine from a year ago:Few, if any, have denied that the colors have been changed. The rub is, there are those who accept the fact that this release is the first we're seeing of the full-DI/full-color timing version of this film and are willing to give PJ and company the benefit of the doubt that this is the intended look...

The reality is, the general consensus (a tiny, extremely vocal minority notwithstanding) is that the Extended versions all have far superior picture quality to the Theatrical releases.Edited to add:Here's what Robert Harris had to say:
