The best way to contact them about the optical block issues is through the Facebook page..... "I Have a Defective Sony TV"Do a bit of reading there and read the "Info" tab instructions to figure out how things are done so you can get the best results. You can either post there or use one of the Sony employees e mail addresses found there. You don't want to just call any Sony customer service number or e mail. Much easier/better results going through the FB page.
Thanks Steve, I had a feeling that was the case. I talked to a girl on a Sony live chat and she told me they were the same glasses but she wasn't sure what the /B meant. I picked up a pair at BB the other day but I'm waiting on my Blu-Ray player.....should be here today. I checked out some of the 3D samples on the TV though....pretty cool! OT......I started to reply to your post yesterday but the hard drive on my PC died halfway through typing my reply. First time I've had...
Can anyone tell me the difference, if there is one, between the TDGBR250/B and the TDGBR250? The local BB has the latter for $69.99 but not the /B. Is there any difference? Thanks......BB
Start here..... http://www.facebook.com/pages/I-Have...766612?sk=wall I have a KDL-60EX720 on the way to replace my 60A3000.
Interesting, thanks for posting. I just sent my pics and s/n sticker in to Sony yesterday. They offered the 55EX500 or 60EX720 with the 55 being quite a bit cheaper. I currently have a 60" A3000 and am a little concerned about going down in size but I assume it's something I'd get used to and not notice after a while. Not really interested in 3D or internet apps so that's not a factor. I'll have to give this some more thought and research before making a final decision. ...
This is where I got one recently... http://www.ebay.com/sch/niosales/m.h....c0.m270.l1313 I got the $99 one. Philips bulb in new housing. Works great, made a much bigger difference than the last bulb I bought a few years ago. It didn't seem to be much brighter than the old, original bulb it replaced.

I don't see anywhere that it says it is a Philips or Osram. The price is another tell, too cheap for a bulb and housing.
Here you go..... http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showp...ostcount=12279 Even after cleaning I can still see some dust on my mirror but I'm sure there is a lot less than there was. I cleaned mine for the 2nd time a couple of weeks ago and it looked a bit better but when I installed a new Philips bulb Monday it looked great......Tuesday the bulb blew out! There is a new one on its way, I hope this one lasts a little longer. 3rd bulb at about 9500 hours total with 4500 on the...
