I noticed yellow trail while watching Sin City on my Sharp LC-40C45U (45D40U equivalent) LCD TV. I also can see it when moving white mouse curser across black background.

According to HD-DVD forum, HD-DVD looks best with 1080i output. Does anyone have experience HD-DVD with xx40u? I'm considering getting one but a little bit concerned.
720p or 1080i?
I have Denon 1910 DVD player. I noticed that 720p from DVI looks much better than 1080i. If I set it to 1080i, I can see interlacing lines even on static pictures. How is your experience?
If your laptop can output DVI (most can't, but some can with a docking station), all you need is a DVI-HDMI cable. You can get a cheap one from monoprice.

Since OPC is ON, the backlight will change from -10 to +16, in this case. As for advanced settings, he already mentioned Color temp and range of OPC. The only setup of interest other than those would be whether Black setting is on or off.
