Does the bulb timer take a while to register the first hour? I'm at like 4 hours and it still says 0.

Gave up trying to get a JVC and snagged an HC4000 at the Electronics Expo Ebay sale today. Can't wait.

Really wanted to grab one of these while the B-Stocks are available, but the bulb issues are incredibly discouraging. Especially with a $499 bulb.

Looks like the LG CF181D is creeping down in to my price range. Seems to be in a different class than the HC4000. Need to figure out if the Vertical Lens Shift will allow me to leave my screen mounted as is...the screen has some...

Thinking of buying one of these as an upgrade to my Mits HC1500. Not sure if Mitsubishi is planning to launch a replacement sometime at CES....

Anything yet? I'm about ready to order something.
