Almost nothing I own can send DD etc via an HDMI cable, even in 1.4. HDMI is a gargantuan waste of space and money. I absolutely hate it, that is why I bought 2 Furys and use one and keep the other just in case they get shut down. Whole house is served 1080i via Component.Sky+ HD box, even the new one will NOT send DD via HDMI, my DUNE 3.0 BD won't either. PS3 doesn't work either, it sends some simil DD but nothing like the quality of the full DTS you can get with a...
This could be a really dumb question but I cannot find a straight answer from Dr Google. Can the Crystalio 3100 support 3D images? I am about to upograde my projector to a 3D one and I had this sudden doubt. If it doesn't does anybody know what the alternatives are? I am feeding this into the 3100: Sky+ HD via HDMI and separate Coax Audio PS3 via HDMI and separate SPDIF Audio Wii vis Component and L/R Audio Arcam DVD player via HDMI and Coax Audio, also feeding SPDIF...
Thanks, annoyingly I am now stuck with 3 Primes which all make a racket. They are yet to answer me...bid dissapointed really. TViX would never have left we waiting this long.
I've posted a ticket with Dune and lets see what they say. At least its good to know that it is a known issue....gives me a fighting chance with them! Thanks.
I have 3x Dune BD Primes and all 3 have incredibly noisy drives. In fact the only one that is usable is in the cinema room where volumes tend to be higher. Has anybody else had this issue, can one buy a diffrent internal drive? Thanks.
Here is a quick review of my lengthy and quite expensive foray into the world of electronic paperweights: Systemline ARC7: Looks and feels fantastic, but ultimately useless...you cannot repeat the IR balst which means that you have to do a separate click for every notch of volume you want to go up or down by. Logitech 785 onward: Excellent software, good learining, cannot flaw these series except for the build quality. They are extremely badly built, especially for...
Apart from the madness surrounding the fact that this is a lovely remote to hold and is only second to the new Loewe remote or a standard Pioneer remote, I find myself very frustrated by these "professional only" makes. Granted they are trying to protect their racket by limiting all information about their products, but this is simply ridiculous. No software updates, no firmware updates...no IR code updates.....no website.... In fact on none of their official sites...
Shockingly simple when one actually engages brain before the mouth....thanks for the tip...it was the Volume Control!!!!!! Sorry for wasting everybody's time...
