OK I've made a service call to comcast and they are coming out this weekend. We'll see what was the problem :)
I will still try to use some other splitters on my main master bedroom. See how that goes as well.
kenglish, Thank you so much for the input.
I do have a splitter in my master bedroom, but they are only used to split to the different rooms in my house. It is currently only used for another cable modem and there are no other TVs in my house.
I am unsure what kind of splitter are in my masterbedroom. I will check that first thing tonight.
Anyway... so there are different types of splitters?
I have a 5 way, 4 way and 3 ways, but unsure of the differences....
Well I doubt its gold since its only $4 from monoprice....
However I tried 3 different splitters and they are all crap but they are older splitter, though.
maybe I should try it with another new splitter from radioshack, BB or something
So this is my setup, supposedly very2 simple ...
HDMI 1 - Comcast Motorola DVR HD-Cable Box
AV1 - Tivo Series 2 DVR
I run a 3 ways gold platter splitter from Wall to all 3 devices above, but doing so messed up signals going into my Comcast DVR. Pictures would be garbled and On-Demand would simply not work.
1. Apparently the Comcast DVR only likes direct connection to the Wall.
2. Taking out the Tivo cable and only running TV + Comcast DVR is no go....
Is it possible?
I just subscribed to the comcast box and coming from my Tivo 500hrs box, the Comcast box is extremely small, especially when I start to record HD stuffs
Any idea whether the moto 3416 box can be upgraded?
Can the USB be used to hook up external storage?
I searched the forum and googled everywhere without much success

I do have an older video camera, but its not digital. But, my digital still camera does take short videos that I will use, so I would need a new DVD player if I want to be able to play these videos on it...I can use that as the selling point with my wife.
Well apart from video camera, you'll need an SLR camera too to capture those...

I just bought Panny 42PX60U too and just ordered Philips DVP5960 yesterday.
There is a deal currently going on for this. Check out f4twallet hot deals.
This player supports HDMI, and is extremely cheap at ~$50.
I also like this dvd because it is region free and plays vcd/svcd/avi files which I regularly watch.
I am sure this is not the best quality player,...
