I can tell you from my personal experience.
Good for gaming-
Epson 8100, 8350
Bad for gaming
Epson 3010, 5010
I personally would go with the panny 7000. That had the lowest lag.
I bought my first epson 8100.
When i flashed it on the wall it was really small image and I was disappointed. Ready to put it in the box and return it.
I was thinking projectors just weren't for me.
Then I found he zoom dial on the lens.
My eyes lit up as I blasted a 130" screen and I shouted wow.
I've been a believer eversince and will never buy a TV again.
I would use this to elminate my wire clutter, as my media room is a "loft" area. So my wires run through where people sit, which sucks.
My question is would you consider a rounded curvature enclosure as that would make the sound crisper and output more audio from the source material? I see that is is square shaped with round edges, but I would think circular would be better?
I went from an 8100 (8350) to the 7000.
I first tried Benq, and it sucked. Go with the 7000, you will be happy.
You will find if you go with the benq, your screen will be smaller, if you can't mount your pj back farther.
