Why have 50hz as an option then ? To me it would be the preferred setting - bug not if what I am reading on here is correct

150/200hz would sound great in a decent system (not!) - too localised bass - far too. Most subwoofers aren't that great above 100hz either may as well ditch the floorstanders at same time

I've always been intrigued on this query too - can anyone contact Pioneer ? I'd like to use 50hz crossover on my 59TXi ..... most of these Receivers are THX certified - so shouldn't be an issue - I assume THX test things like crossovers ?

Just for clarification I did change the mic on my 4311 with the same model mic from another working denon (not a 4311) and got exact same results So if anything was at fault - was very unlikely to be the mic
