I was wondering what the proper way to measure distance was. Do I measure the path of the red line or the green line. My center channel is 10.4ft from listening position, the red line is 11ft and the green line is 10.4ft.

Myself I would close off the wall between the bar and theater. This way you make the theater more sound proof and the people at the bar do not interfere with the sound of the movie. That and as Nameneeded pointed out lighting control.
