I got the 876 for $899. I don't really know KEF but going to check them out right away.
I guess that almost any bookshelf size will do, even though I'd prefer smaller, but only if I don't sacrifice a lot of sound quality.

Room: 11x10, viewing distance from wall is 10 feet.
