Yep. Anything connected to any of the HDMI ports presents the same problem, i.e. Blu-ray player, Western Digiatl HD...
My TV receives it's signal from thru a Onkyo Receiver which passes the video signal from the Uverse cable box, all via HDMI. I turn all 3 on at the same time (actaully, the cable box is always on). It takes about 20 minutes for the TV...
Referring to the post above....I assume the chart refers to the red blinks. That being the case, there is a fan out, I belive I read somewhere that there are 3 fans, two within easy reach and the other on the optical block. My question...
I get 18 green blinks
followed by 1 stubstained green light
followed by 4 red blinks....which repeat
So does the chart mentioned above mention the red blinks or the green blinks?
My girlfriend has a KDS-R60XBR1 that wouldn't come on. The green light would blink for a while, then the red would blink. I pulled the bulb abd there was a cloudy section at the bottom. A TV repair said the bulb wad dead and sold me...

They are an Authorized Onkyo dealer also.
I'm not so keen on the "pass through" of the 506.
It's just for my bedroom where I will be using a 40" LCD TV and a small 5.1 speaker system that doesn't require much power. I need at least:
Dolby 5.1
2 HDMI inputs
1 HDMI output
subwoofer pre-out
optical audio input
must get...
Luckily, my speakers are are a monotone silver. So there is no wood grain to fret about. The veneer seems to be on very well. Removing it from my speakers seems to be a bad idea.
