Update on Remote problem:
I found on page 76 of the manual on how to reset all to defaults. You have to use the control on the receiver itself.
Reset and re-ran the setup. Everything works now.
"if you are 100% sure you are using the remote correctly, did you try the front panel arrow buttons? do they work? that would narrow it down to the remote or the receiver." -ss9001
The up/down arrow on the receiver itself do not...
The arrows worked prior to me pressing the RCU button. I was able to play music on the usb connection.
I don't think the remote is bad, just the "selection/settings" were bad.
Short of buying a new remote...
I am back.
Tried everything on the remote, resetting to factory defaults.
The up/down arrow selection would not bulge. That's including the net button.
When I select "ipod/usb" the HD is recognized but stop at the first folder...
I need some HELP with the remote.
I am using an external HD (FAT32) to listen to mp3.
Last night it ran fien, then I don't know what I have push certain buttons on the remote.
Now the ipod/USB function does not work.
I completed setup the receiver with an Netgear WNCE2001 adapter.
Selected NET on the remote but no matter what selection, it showed "server error". The adapter has an IP assigned with my network.
I have updated the firmware on...
My home network has a wireless Linksys router. I connect all my PCs via wireless with password.
I thought that you can connect an USB wireless adapter to the Pio and use its remote to key in the password.
I plan to use the internet...
