I have had my Vizio GV52L now for almost five years and it is still going strong - no issues, no complaints. At some point I'd like to get a larger screen and newer technology, but there's no justification for it when everything is...
I will have owned mine for four years in July along with my 42" Vizio. Both have been flawless. The panel for the 52" has always been impressive especially for side views.

Not yet. The newer sets including 3D capable are tempting. However, I've had my set for almost three years along with a Vizio 42" 1080p set. Both have been amazing for the price and might last until holographic TV is ready.
My 2.5 year old 1080p Vizio LCDs have great off angle viewing. They have also been great for displaying SD content when needed. Check them out.

Contact Vizio directly and they will help you. They have very good customer service. If you are within a year of purchase, you are under warranty. If not, they provide some options for you.
Ask your question here. You may get a better response.
Go for 52". Otherwise you will be disappointed.
