There are many HD cameras at the lower end of the camcorder price range (not just the least expensive) that are promoted as "full HD" that use far less than the number of pixels nominally required for that (arguably at least 2.07MP)....

How about "None of the above?" Your budget puts you between product brackets. You've listed some of the usual suspects in the budget category, of which IMO the Q10 would probably serve you best, but those all have street prices far lower...
