Mine also seemed to be worse when I first got it but it was a display model so it should have been well broke in already.
Find some other theaters you like and have at it. You can make a really nice theater in that space. 3 rows of seating will be really tight though. Probably not realistic.

i still get my tv the old fashion way, through an antennae lol. Once it goes through the digital/analog converter to the recorder I believe it's down to 2 channel.

For just tv watching? There's little to no benefit from a center channel unless you have multi-channel source IMO.
Your density would change anyway have cement behind some walls even if you did double the drywall. I can't see it making any difference.
