^^^ If you're planning to use both your Verizon DVR and DTV box via component, you'll need to choose one. The TV only has one (shared) input for composite/component.

Wow, that's awesome. If my set is out of warranty I'd definitely try that. I recall when my TV developed this issue and the Panasonic rep came out, he did take off the back cover and tinkered with boards and cables for over an hour...
Oh ok, I gotcha. At first I thought the photographer's reflection is on the inside black panel, not the outside glass. I guess it's better seeing it in person than a photo.
^^^ You must have a very bright room. If the Sammys are brighter than the GT50, for me personally I wouldn't want one. I have 4 LCDs in my house (2 of them are super bright LED-based) and when I got my 65GT50 I almost burnt my retinas...
