Haven't heard the Lab Gruppen but I think it uses a 30A twist lock plug. Is this convenient? What about nearby service facility? I would also consider some new Yamaha P7000S provided you are not bridging them on your main speakers...
That'll work fine. You might even find that you don't need to turn up the gain controls on the Crown all the way to get the volume you need.

Thanks for your replies. You guys were right, the TC50PU54 was undamaged. Spent the better part of today getting the TV and the peripherals hooked up and very happy with the result. Happy holidays!
