^ Thanks. The drive worked fine with the WD Live and laptop last week and outside of the buffering with the 400 has not had any connectivity issues until yesterday. James
And not to be a sour-puss but don't you have a pretty good idea which of your files are in SD? I think I'm well aware of mine, but maybe your collection is much nearer to 50/50 SD/HD. My few dozen SD titles really stand out. James

Outside of cost and massive (read 1TB or larger) drive availability, I thought SSD's were superior to HDDs in just about every measurable way: noise, write/read speeds, etc. And with the new "TRIM" tech, I thought long term reliability...
