My gamma is about 2.35. Is there a need to lower it to 2.2? How can I lower gamma? Thank you!
My player is OPPO BDP-83. It supports HDMV, PATCHED, AVCHD. Which version is better to use? Is there a difference? Thank you!
Thank you!
But here: http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10457 it says: If you are using a Blu-ray or HD DVD test disc, set the "Color Space - Standard" option to HDTV - REC 709. If you are using a Standard DVD test disc that is in PAL or SECAM format, set the Color Space - Standard option to PAL/SECAM. So, which color space should I use if I use a DVD test disk to calibrate my Blu-ray? Thank you!
Instant reply! Thank you so much!
I want to calibrate my new Oppo Blu-ray player. Do I have do burn AVS HD 709 on a Blu-ray or can I also burn it on a DVD? Is there a difference regarding calibration results? Thank you?
If you want to do it by yourself, you have to do a lot of (internet) reading and spend a lot of hours trying to achieve the best result. I did it and liked it a lot, but I don't know if you would like it too.No, but you should check after a period if everything is still OK.
Thank you, but if someone has no macroblocking errors is it better to have it ON or OFF? Does it process picture? I always have picture processors to OFF, what should I do with TrueLife?
Why does the 1st post suggest to deactivate TrueLife? Thank you!
Let's go on topic: I found this: http://www.xrite.com/top_services.aspx?type=4 Hosted Online Seminars From what I saw it is not a seminar about calibration, but some theory about color etc. How do you find it? Thank you!
