If you can get a set of intelix for $300 thats a great deal!
Snap is protected and only sold thru dealers they prohibit internet sales. I have used the intelix pieces and they work well.. they have a revised model out now, but I am not sure its hsipping yet

Not familiar with the dual band term .. but we have not run into any situations where the xantech pieces we use do not work, so I would have to assume that they cover your situation as well

I think you are asking for a world of HDCP and or EDID issues..let alone I have no idea how you would manage all of those switches. I think you are much better off going with an 8 x 8 (or 4x4 and just use local blu ray or cable boxes)...
Those appear to be the older models and they might work just fine, the newer LCD/Plasma product has had some improvements as far as compatibility with certain sat and cable boxes. I am not one to screw around to save a few bucks and risk...
The receiver in the xtralink kit is not LCD or plasma friendly .. they designed that kit back when CRTs were the major type of TV out there and never updated it to included one of the LCD/Plasma proof receivers
Jeff's suggestions could very possibly work, but my experience has been that there is a very finite current amount from any xantech connecting block, usually you can get by with up to two double head emitters on their standard 4 output...
