Very impressive! Really admire your dedication. Glad you were able to find and use the 8 pole magnet. In theory this should improve the sensitivity of the sensor. A video of the masking would be great.
Thanks for the excellent explanation. Have exactly the same issue, except that the tilt is towards the left lower corner, on a friend's PT-AE7000. The mount is very flexible and should be an easy fix now.
I just found the instructions on the Panasonic support site. My mistake was that I was trying to reset the unit while it was ON..... The unit has to be OFF. Will try this later tonight.
Reset the unit by following these instructions: 1) While the unit is off, press and hold the [KEYS] button on the remote control along with the(B) and [Y] buttons on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds. "00 RET" is displayed on the unit's display....
Thanks for the instructions.
I tried the steps but had problems. After " 00 RET" when I pressed "R" , I did not get "08 FIN" . I got "03 VL". If "R" was pushed multiple times it would cycle throough three different indicators but never a "08 FIN"
Is there a specific menu that you start out the whole process from? Am I missing something?
My Netflix has been down for 3 weeks. After getting the Netflix logo over the red band, the bars below flash but after about 4-5 minutes, message appears...cannot connect ,,,,Try Again or Exit. I have tried Reset through the setup menu and by holding "KEYS", blue and yellow buttons down..........no change after doing those resets. HULU previews load and work fine as does Youtube..
Any further suggestions?
Has anyone had any experience regarding multiple iOS remotes on an iphone?
For example, if one has Roomie or iRule along with a manufacturer's iOS remote (eg. Panasonic's Vierra Connect) and an Activephone to control X10 devices, is there a conflict between the remotes?
Also, there are usaually long intervals between the remote use during movie watching. Is there a problem reconnecting when the iPhone goes into the standby mode?
Any input would be...
