Here is the tvfool report for Colorado Springs; using your exact address would be more accurate:http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d0559b07944b02aWhich ones? What Denver channel do you want? Is it KDBI on real channel 13, virtual channel 12.1?Is your antenna for UHF only, or can it pick up VHF?Yes, different models have different features. With my SONY I can add a channel after scan. Try entering 13 for the real channel or try entering 12.1.KDBI is a...
I agree with ProjectSHO89; buy another power supply and power inserter: http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp?p=ps-1403&d=winegard-ps1403-power-injector-/-inserter-for-pre-amp-18-volt-(ps-1403)&sku=615798399382 I also agree with holl_ands; there might be a coax short. The power injector/power inserter looks like a splitter, but it doesn't work like a splitter. Even Solid Signal incorrectly calls it a splitter. The purpose of the power injector is to allow the coax to...
Did you set the Mode switch at the bottom of the remote control to TV?(p15) Are you trying to watch TV chanels from cable or antenna? Have you done a channel scan using Auto Channel Preset?(p37)
Good site Ken; thanks!
The split bolt is an approved way to make a connection. The main grounding wire from the house electrical system to its ground rod must not be disconnected even for a moment, and the split bolt allows a grounding connection to that wire. A grounding connection to the metal meter base can be OK, but it might not be done correctly in your case. https://www.electricmotioncompany.com/emc.php?type=ibonding The coax for your antenna should be connected to a grounding block....
FCC Over-the-Air Reception Devices Rule: http://www.fcc.gov/guides/over-air-reception-devices-rule
I did a Google search of: LG PK540 hdmi handshake problem How does the TV do with component input? http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-50PK540# How long is your hdmi cable?
Prany:Since CBS 3.1 is on real CH42, the 4228 is a good choice. That's good. That makes reception more difficult, but since you previously had good reception I suspect the preamp or coax downlead unless there is a problem with the KIMT transmitter. If you antenna has been up that long, it might be a bad balun or connection to the 4228.
Your question is not stupid. During the transition from analog to digital TV, the CECBs (coupon eligible converter boxes) generally had better tuners than TVs because they needed to meet the tuner specs to be eligible for the coupon program. The TV tuners have now caught up, but there are still some differences between tuners from brand to brand and within a brand. The tuner specs for TVs are not published, so I use a test setup to compare the performance of my tuners. I...
Prany: Using coordinates, 44.131165, -92.531693, for Oronoco MN 55960 your tvfool report looks like this: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d1dda49c83a0e92 Your two CBS stations are 2Edge signals and fairly weak, which means they will probably not be 100% reliable. I expected to see one of your translator transmitters carry CBS, but I don't see it listed as a...
