Odd though that the problem never went away even after I put my 4310 back to factory settings. Problems only began when I applied the firmware updates which were around July. I reset the processor (and supposedly all the firmware),...
I notice that the trouble starts (AV dropping out when changing inputs) when the audio has been muted anytime the unit has been on. Anyone else have the same thing? (It would be nice if someone, anyone, replied to my 4310 problems...)

My 4310ci is possessed. Even after I reset the microprocessor a few weeks ago, the audio/video completely drops out sometimes when changing inputs. I thought a recent firmware update caused that to happen. It never did that before...
