I have this one on pre-order at Amazon There's a review of the TX-NR535 (the 5.2 sibling), but the reviewer didn't use the automatic setup for AccuEQ. I am curious how it sounds compared to Audessey. http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-TX-NR535-5-2-Channel-Network-Receiver/product-reviews/B00IQ0SDVY/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?showViewpoints=1
@squareeyes, could you make icons for a HTPC (or XBMC), Sonos and radio ? Your icons look great, but I'm missing just these three.
Already sent these to Randy as well: Only pity you can't change the settings bitmap/icon
Did you set the audio device to WASAPI ? When doing bitstreaming it's key to use WASAPI under Windows rather than DirectSound and make sure you use exclusive mode. If you don't use WASAPI and/or exclusive mode, it could result in choppy video playback. See the XBMC forums (either the one on AudioEngine or the HD audio patch).

+1 any new features (or better said now working features...) ?
Correct. The fatty will by default decode the HD formats to 7.1 PCM and stream it over HDMI to your receiver. The receiver will only see PCM or multi-channel PCM. For the Slim there's an extra audio option to disable decode on the PS3 and stream the compressed/encoded bitstream via HDMI as is.
Where do you live ? It's on Amazon.de:http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B004...pf_rd_i=301128 A bit pricey, 50 euro.
I'm still here ;-) Did anyone manage to program custom URLs for internet radio via the web interface ? E.g. when I use:http://82.201.100.9:8000/radio538.m3u I see a few garbled characters in the display, but no sound. The .m3u file contains a link to http://82.201.100.9:8000/radio538 In Winamp the URL works so it should be ok. Did I miss something ?
Yep the FAQ is gone EDIT: the old FAQ is still here... http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=931796In that FAQ, the Slim is mentioned, but I think the story on TrueHD and MA is not 100% clear for new users. You should setHDMI audio to bitstream if you basically want pass-through. The old PS3 will output "AC3" core in case of TrueHD (guess the AC3 frames of the interweaved track or transcoded ?) and DTS core in case of DTS MA. Someone has to update the table with...
