WOIO doesn't have the equipment to air any syndicated shows in HD, only CBS network shows and live newscasts.
I wonder if this will change when they start airing Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy next year?
I've gotten CHCH 51.1 digital several times since they flash cut (including yesterday evening), and even got OMNI 69.1 for a minute or so the other day.
and I'm a good 25 miles south of Lake Erie, so it certainly is doable.
Also WRLM-47 in solid, which I usually only get a faint heartbeat on.
No Y-town stations though.
UPDATE: WKBN coming in solid for a while along with WNEO (but WEAO gone!). Also briefly decoded foreign language program (sounded Eastern European) on OMNI 69.1 from London ON.
This morning: CBLFT 25.1 (in French!), WJET 24.1 Erie (overpowering WOIO's translator here!), Fox 66 (Erie), CHCHDT2 (51.1).
WEAO 49.x gone all morning (as often happens during Erie DX openings, probably due to the RF50 in Erie interfering).
What's the sense of swapping "This" and "Me"? Does one use significantly less bandwidth than the other? Or do they want "Me" on the stronger UHF signal?
I guess it's good that the extra sub is landing on 43 and not 19 (for the sake of HD football anyway).
