Also, try here: http://reconingspeakers.com/products-page/brands/klipsch-rf3-k-1083-8-woofer/. According to the page you linked to, your driver has part # K-1083-SB. Could be that's a match.
If it is just the driver that is blown, you might be able to get a replacement driver from Klipsch. Some manufacturers do carry replacements back 8 or 10 years. Or watch Ebay for another driver.
I agree with some of the others in this thread. I don't see a speaker buying guide sticky as that helpful. However, a deals thread would be where we share current excellent prices on speakers.

Since you like the Pioneer speakers, get them and this Denon AVR-1312 to power them. You can then hook your TV up to the receiver and use the headphone jack of your iPhone with a 3.5mm to RCA cable to plug into the front of the receiver.
That will be a nice setup
I don't know why none of us suggested the NHT SuperZeros. They recently updated them to a 2.1 version.
