Any updates here? I saw that the CSR that dogdoctor spoke to mentioned to call during the week... has anyone gotten any further information about a possible 4100? Honestly, I'd be surprised if a firmware update came out this long...

My first and last bump... No one has any opinions on these two TVs? After continuing my search, I still can't find any definitive answers on which would be the better buy.

I think I've narrowed down my 3-month long search to these two TVs. I've noticed that the KDL-40V4100 and the KDL-40S5100 are almost exactly the same price everywhere I go. Normally I would think "Oh, the newer version MUST be the best...

Thank you very much for your reply. It seems like a good TV, so it's always helpful to have some owner's opinions of it, especially from gamers. If there aren't any very good sales on Sunday, I may end up buying this TV after all.

I've done a few searches and read a lot of threads on these forums but I didn't find anything that exactly answered my question... I apologize if I missed something. Now I have been looking for a TV for the better part of 5 months...
