Lets try to remember that h.265 is still essentially in a pre-alpha phase. The "standard" isn't totally finalized, nobody has even announced potential release dates for compatible hardware, and software compression currently chugs away...

As an interconnect standard that can do 4k @ 60Hz is still 1-2 years away, and who knows how long it will take manufacturers to actually start implementing that once its available, nobody has much of a choice right now.

Very positive review on Gizmodo. Not exactly an exhaustive review, but they were just about floored by the video quality. Still not enough for me to buy this as a monitor without seeing it used as a monitor though.
