I bought most of my 2-channel gear in the 70's & 80's.
Yamaha YP-D8 Turntable.
Yamaha T-85 Tuner.
Yamaha CX-1000 Pre-Amp.
Yamaha CDX-5000 CD Player.
Yamaha B-6 Pyramid Amplifier.
Klipsch Klipschorns (1988 Models).
The pre-amp in the below picture is my old CX-800. I haven't taken new ones with the CX-1000.
Sorry to hear that Mark. They rarely show up on ebay anymore. There was a whole PS setup on ebay a while ago that did not sell. I'll PM the guy's handle to you. Maybe you can make a deal with him. Good luck.
I have a full 5.1 set of the HT Series speakers. The HT4H is the matching center and the HT5's the surrounds. The HTPS400 is the sub. The HT4V was originally the SVA 1500 and you may find the matching center for those (the SVA Center) as the HT4H is very rare. I was very happy with them except for the hole in the upper bass area.
They come up from time to time but it's been a long time since one's come up for less than $700.00. It also depends on your perspective. The MSRP was $2000.00 and a replacement driver from JBL was over $700.00.
