Don't bother. The SubMersive is completely inert and therefore won't need/benefit from an isolation pad. Acoustic panels on the other hand...

There has been zero word on a new Elite TV. I would HIGHLY doubt it at this point.

Define "reasonable". Frankly, a TV of this caliber screams for QUALITY sound, and that's just not out there for $300. My recommendation would be a "reasonable" AVR from Denon or Yamaha, quality bookshelf speakers from Klipsch or Def...

I live in Florida but bought mine through a Best Buy in Ohio (but I can't remember which one). Mrcarnut MIGHT be able to help you on this one. He had a connection with his local store but I have no idea if that deal is still "in play"....
