I have seen Dell and Sony laptops in a few movies recently but cant remember what they were. They were action ones like maybe the last transformers and die hard or something. I have seen Cisco in a lot of things lately too and for real products too, unlike the cell phones as Dark_slayer mentioned.
Ive had increddibly horrible success making these Hauppauge work if there is any sort of converter/adapter between the console and the hauppauge. I suggest getting the component cable for your xbox and using the converters after the hauppauge. Also the haupper can be a bit finicky, I often have to power cycle it whenever I change sources for it to recognize it has something plugged into it. Once you get it all hooked up, power cycle the hauppauge then plug it into your...
I think the issue here is trying to convert off VGA before going through the hopper. The way I do it is using this cable. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox360/accessories/cablesnetworking/Xbox360ComponentHDCable I connect the xbox direct to the hauppauge. I then connect the other side of the hauppauge to this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0016SN49Y/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01 This is because my monitor has HDMI input so you would use a component->VGA But this setup...
I am not familiar with XSplit but I can tell you that the hauppauge people are correct. The HD PVR does have a delay in its feed to the pc. The explanation I read was that they did this so that the pass-through has top priority so you wont get any lag when actually viewing the feed and since the feed to the computer is just for recording and not using then it doesnt really matter. I still find the PVR->PC link to be pretty freaking glitchy at times tho. As for the...
I am pretty sure you already have made a choice, its called Comcast. And here we are a few years later and one job I have is managing the network for a hosting company. I have pretty much the exact thing configured on their devices. It(router/edge appliances) watches packets for what service it is using and will prioritize or de-prioritize them based on source/destination ip and the protocol being used. And if it meets certain criteria it gets flagged and logged to a...
I have the hauppauge as well for the same exact reason, to record gameplay off the xbox and ps3 and it was an extreme pain to setup. I have gone through 3 converters that have been utter garbage so far that would randomly drop signal or cause the colors to be messed up in the game.So before I get into everything let me tell you the 'quick fix' that might work for you since Im assuming when you say it doesnt work it means you are not getting any picture?I find that when...
Lol I actually had this same surprise when I picked up the movie on blu ray. turned out it was the directors cut. It really changes it into a different movie though. More back story and such. To be honest though I would like to have both versions because sometimes Id like to see the original.
Ah, missed that it was hard wired, I was thinking along the lines of the bathroom fan since many of them have standard outlet plugs that Ive seen. But it is correct the one I linked only works if its a standard outlet.

Rubbing alcohol is where its at, never had it damage any case. For the really sticky ones you can also use lighter fluid but dont use that on a painted case That SilverStone looks really nice though, would certainly blend right in with my gear though I think personally its a little big. Or at least it looks big.
