What mode are you using? Because the video I see in your link only says he seen it in Standard mode with CATS off. Also that it does not happen in Custom mode. What mode is it affecting you on your set?

It doesn't inspire confidence when they said rising blacks wasn't a issue on the 2010 sets. They ''claim'' to have bettered the black technology shown by Pioneer back at CES 2008 in the famous floating ring demo and it is already incorporated in this year’s VT30. And a ex-pioneer engineer in the room confirmed this is the case. I am taking this with a grain of salt, but I hoping that it is indeed true. I will be waiting for testing to be done to determine whether they rise...
Are you basing this off one review?Ask yourself this question, if Samsung has floating blacks.... why the hell has not anyone started a thread about it like the one for 'Panasonic 2010 floating blacks'?As I have said I know what it looks like (floating blacks). And I do not see floatings blacks on the Samsung in the lounge room. If it did have floating blacks it be out of door so fast, alas it does not have floatings blacks. I hate floating blacks.
What floating blacks on a Samsung? I got a Samsung in the lounge room, I see no floating blacks. I had a 2010 Panasonic that had floating blacks so I know what the hell it looks like. I absolutely hate floating blacks.
