The Boxee TV finally has a potential role to play. Hopefully they'll update it so you can enter numeric values for channels and it'll be golden.
It's literally the width of your TV divided by 2. No fancy math needed. Though I'd suggested framing out the angle with a couple of 2x4s and mounting your TV flat on that.
Is it true that the motion detection on Blue Iris is a 'software' feature in the sense that the software is constantly running the camera and only storing the feed when it sees something move? Basically the issue I'm trying to address...

Not a bad device. I got excited when I saw the article on The Verge this morning. I really like the idea of the Smart Control. It's cheap, has an app, but even gives you hard buttons to use. That's something a lot of the current apps are...

Since we have solid options on how to organize, distribute, and display our video and audio collections, what do HTPCers use for their photos?
Maybe place a couple of these or similar under the TV?
Wow that's quite the setup. Maybe see if you can pool that many between your friends? Have you emailed Apple? I feel like they could give you a definitive answer.
