Well, Having looked for years but never upgraded, now would be the time for a nice windfall.
I checked my wifi connection and it says it is excellent. This behavior doesn't happen on Netflix or Amazon. But: My Roku Player Basic version goes into constant looping behavior on some channels. Especially affected are TEDtv, WSJ, FoxNews/FoxLive/FoxBusiness, and CNBC, although lately that channel has improved. Is it a result of Roku faulty behavior? Or is it the problem of the channel providers? A search of the internet will expose many complaints about channel...
I found that iMovie will import the soundtrack... Weird that nothing else will .
Hi folks, I have used my canopus adc110 to capture VHS video to my Mac 10.7 Lion Intel computer before. I am trying to transfer some cassette tapes to my computer and I have set the dip switches to #1 ON as suggested and switched to analog on the front. I'm use standard jacks from the tape deck to the canopus and using a 400 Firewire cable from the unit to the mac. I have tried using Garageband, Soundtrack pro and wiretap pro, but no software sees the incoming...
I've been a Prime member for years now, but have rarely used Amazon via my Roku player. The problem is the search/selection interface. Amazon doesn't separate free prime movies from pay per view movies in its search interface, which makes it almost unusable. Trying to find new Prime releases is mostly frustrating. However, I've noticed that Netflix selections of newer content has fallen way behind to the point that its streaming service is almost worthless. If it...
oh thanks, well it isn't advertised as having the dnla on the Sony website...

But my question is why does the pure blu ray player, like the S770 come with the DNLA option, as limited as...
My wife suggested I look back at the Sony S570, now the S770 has come out) and when I first looked at them they wouldn't list what was on their Bravia Internet service. Now it has similar features to the Roku, but it also says something about DNLA wireless videos from your computer. I'm wondering what that means. I hear that their version is hobbled, that the videos have to be in a specific format, and that it won't stream internet directly, so you couldn't like watch the...
The hum is in both channels and it does not exist when I unplug the turntable. The hum exists when it is plugged in, even when the turntable is off. When it is not plugged in though, there is still a lot of ambient noise in the phono channel. So an alternate question is, if I got a preamp, could i run the turntable through the aux channel instead?
HI folks, I got this message from TEAC support. It doesn't require grounding, so what would be the cause of the hum then? I noticed that after plugging the TTable back in today there was no hum till after album played and then when the record went silent after a while I noticed the hum. Could be as the amp warms up??
