My daughter hasn't done anything like that since then. We got a new TV and TV stand and our setup looks a whole lot nicer, and my daughter even likes showing it off. I'm proud to announce all of her artwork is now done on paper
It makes no sense to bash a movie that was so good, not just for the sound, but the picture, acting and camera angles, etc. The movie was marvelous. The bass was just right. I had my sub turned up a little bit and it really brought the experience to a new level. I agree good bass delivers this movie in a whole new way, but at least it wasn't as crappy as the Hobbit (bass-wise, movie was fine). In that movie I was extremely disappointed with the bass.Yeah I agree, one...
Just watched Star Trek: Into Darkness for the first time in my home. The LFM-1 Plus performed ADMIRABLY. There is a lot of bass in this movie and watching with a sub so acurate like the Plus was just a treat to behold!
So I now join those family Energy users with their children's artistic creations added to the beauty of their speakers. My daughter decided to take an orange crayon to beautify my LCD screen, the top of my RC-LCR and part of the grill to the RC-LCR as well. Any tips on getting crayon off? I didn't want to touch it at all in fear of damaging it. A damp cloth took the crayon off my LCD screen. I left the TV on for a while to heat up the screen so the crayon partially...
The crossover is what determines is sent to your speakers and what is sent to your subwoofer. You'll want to set the crossover to 120hZ or higher, since your speakers can only get that low at their best. This will send anything below that to the subwoofer.Just as a precaution you can set the crossover on the back of your subwoofer to the same thing.
Had this setup as my first speaker setup. The sub is by no means quiet.Just as a word of advice, have the volume on the back of the sub at about half. not full. If/when your sub does start pushing out sound, it'll destroy your sub if it isn't already not working. When it does work it will be plenty loud at half volume.Another thing to do is if I remember right, the sub can choose whether to use its own crossover or the receiver. Make sure it is set for your receiver.
The Plus is great. I am in an apartment with an open living room and kitchen with a 30x15 layout and it does great. I don't have as many other rooms to leak out to, but I did find when I either have my LFM-2 or Energy s10.2 hooked up it balanced the sound more. Still an EXCELLENT subwoofer though.
