I had been putting off buying a 535 since October. I finally went ahead and purchased one on 12/31. I'm glad I purchased it when I did because if I had waited any longer, I would have had to pay $10 more. FedEx delivered it this morning....

I know this has probably been asked before, but could someone PLEASE tell me how to open the DTVPal so that I can upgrade the hard drive. Maybe provide a link to instructions on how to do so. I've gotten the obvious 4 screws removed, but...
I've had mine unplugged for three years. I just dumped cable last month and decided to put this unit to use. It works great. I connected it to the internet, but forgot to disable automatic updates. While I was sleeping the unit updated...
I've owned and own a few DVRs. The VRX doesn't even come CLOSE to being as good of a DVR as the ones I've owned/own. That said, I'm still satisfied with my purchase.
