Yeah, sure. Regrettably, I don't already know the dimensions, but as soon as I get a hold of a tape-measurer I'll update the thread with a top-down sketch. It'll probably be in 40 minutes, though, since there's currently a sleeping puppy...
So based on the pictures, are there any potential issues here that may not be obvious to someone who hypothetically doesn't know what they're doing? The plan is to put small satellite speakers on stands around the viewing area...
The thing is, I'd rather avoid doing something permanent like cutting a hole in the ceiling, lol. Thanks for the suggestion though. Would it be a bad idea to simply place a speaker on top of something like, say, a large hardcover book?
Is there any hope of me getting a satellite speaker back there without wall-mounting it (In the top left of the pic.)? I'm not sure a speaker stand would fit... Here are the dimensions of the speaker: 6.4" H x 3.8" W x 4.2" D.
